Ok, so everyone knows how to create the classic donut, using a donut band or sock... but not everyone knows how to do this classic style without a styling aid. Well... here's the solution... this is my take on the style
Step 1: Firstly tie your hair into a ponytail at the height you want your bun (I usually have it on the crown)
Step 2: Take the  end of your ponytail and roll it downwards towards the band to create a sausage shape
Step 3: Next bring the two ends of the sausage shape so they meet
Step 4: Now pull one end over the over, so the other is inside the other
Step 5: Keep pulling the shape round so a small donut is formed
Step 6: Lastly pull the small donut,that you have created, out creating a larger donut until you reach your desired effect
To secure use a little hairspray and hairpins
Optional Extras:
Place a bow at the back or on the side of the bun for a girly, summers look
Spray with a small amount of hair glitter for a fun, party look
Add a shining agent(such as Charles Worthingtons Mirror Dazzle Shine Spray) for a sleek, glamourous look
