Heya,
So I've been doing a lot of shopping lately, in particular beauty/skincare shopping, and so I thought I'd share with you some of the things that I have bought.
I have been wanting a new foundation for a while now as I felt my old foundation was too matte for my skin during the winter, so I went on the hunt for a slightly more dewy foundation, that was just as good quality. I chose the Loreal True Match in Rose Beige. I love this foundation as it blends really well and has excellent coverage. The colour however, will probably be slightly too dark for me during the winter, when I will become paler, but for the time being it is perfect!
My trusty Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, a must have in my beauty routine. I took a little break from using this a while back, for some reason I can't remember, but I'm so glad I went back to it. Excellent long wear coverage- the best I've found for both dark circles and blemishes!
Since using a more dewy foundation, I have started using a powder, just to mattify the areas of my make-up that are more prone to disappearing throughout the day and to set my concealer under my eyes. I picked up this Collection Pressed powder as I knew it would do its simple job for the very small price! I apply it using a small fluffy brush to easily cover the target areas.
Slightly late on the band-waggon, I finally got round to picking up some Zoella Beauty bits. I chose the Bath Fizzers and Body Mist. They smell and look amazing.
After hitting pan on my go-to brow shade in my W7 eye-shadow palette, I thought it was time to invest in a eyebrow palette. I picked up the Revolution Shaping Kit in Medium/Dark which was super affordable, and offers three shades as well as a wax, an angled brush and a set of tweezers, super perfect for on the go! I generally use the middle shade for everyday, but depending on the look I'm trying create, i do also use the slightly lighter shade and darkest shade.
The last item in my haul, is this Bourjois Matte Velvet liquid lipstick in this gorgeous nudey-pink colour! I love the texture of this, its not sticky, like you may expect from a liquid lipstick, it feels super soft and velvety, and doesn't dry your lips out meaning its fab for winter! The colour is also extremely pigmented, one coat will be enough to last the whole day without fading! I plan to purchase the dark red version of this lipstick really soon!
I hope you have enjoyed discovering what beauty products I have recently been buying and perhaps this has inspired you to go out and try some new, or go back to some old favourites!

Heya,
So once again, Winter Pastels in a key trend this AW15. Meaning we get to wear super cute pastels in the winter too! I'm loving this trend and I feel it's fab for Winter Coats to really make an outfit that bit extra girly and cute!
But this trend also stretches to Winter Accessories- hats, scarves, gloves, and headbands in your fave pastel colours!
Team your pastels with a pair of cute jeans or a contrasting dark coloured trouser. For an even girlier look, why not team them with a cute denim or cord a line skirt and a little collared tee.

Heya,
The first room you enter is found by walking through a crazy tunnel. Once inside you are faced with a 360' wall of screen, showing different parts of Vuitton Central to the room, and he only other thing is a huge Vuitton case displaying some type of video, however the room was so packed with people it was very difficult to see what was being played.
The next room is lined with loads of mirrors and fancy lighting, the room once again centred with videos being played of the creation of a Vuitton box bag, all hand made! This room was once again very busy so we didn't spend to long in there, however what we saw of the videos was amazing!
Following that, you come to a room once again lined with mirrors. This room displayed many catwalk shots/ short videos of Vuitton Fashion looks. I loved this room as you get to see so many looks, and in a way you feel like your there, watching the catwalk show!
So you know how I said about watching the box bags being made via video? Well the next room allows you to view them being made in real life by a team of experts. They're work is also projected onto the huge screen wall behind them. Seeing these boxes being made and crafted in real life was such an experience and to know how much effort goes into each and everyone, it puts it into context as to why Vuitton is so expensive!
Once you've seen the looks and craftship, you move onto the Accessories room. The contrast between the dark room before and the bright white room of Accessories takes a while for your eyes to get used to, but wow- they're were so many beautiful bags and other accessories, displayed in such a cool way. They were on mannequins that were sort of pressed into a wall so that they created two mannequins, giving each side of the wall a different perspective. My favourite item from this room was the monochrome bag with bright coloured detailing and silver chain strap, however the super crazy yet cute sunglasses come a close second!
My favourite room is probably the walk in Wardrobe- the room with all the clothing, shoes and bags, all displayed immaculately. Most of the items were free for you to touch, making the experience extra fantastic- being around Vuitton knowing all the work that has gone into each piece before you enter the room, it's pretty amazing!
The last room of the exhibition is the poster room- a room described pretty much but it's title. Inside you are given a complimentary poster and are able to peruse the room decorated with hundreds, maybe even thousands of Vuitton posters. I would love my room to be decorated like this!
I had the best evening at the exhibition, and would definitely visit again! The effort that has gone into the display of the whole exhibition and the pieces themselves are amazing. I would recommend this 100% to anyone- so if you're out and about and need something to do, definitely go visit!
So I recently got the amazing opportunity to attend the current Louis Vuitton Series 3 Exhibition in London with my friend. Located just past Somerset House and the Kings College Arts and humanities campus, the exhibition is full to the brim of the amazing works of the stand alone designer Nicolas Ghesquiere for Vuitton AW 15/16 Collection and the designers influences, from the hand-crafted bags to the extravagant clothing items.
Once inside the exhibition, you follow through many different rooms, all decorated in the most amazing ways, think fancy lighting and loads of mirrors (Que multiple mirror selfies). Inside each room you will find different aspects of the collection, from the creation of the box bags to the final products.

So this is the year of important birthdays for my friends and I as it is the year we turn 18! Turning 18 is one of the big age milestones in the UK, so i thought I'd put together a little Cupcake recipe to celebrate this!
The Cupcake recipe I am going to be sharing with you is a chocolate and vanilla marble cupcake with Chocolate swirl icing!
The Cupcake recipe I am going to be sharing with you is a chocolate and vanilla marble cupcake with Chocolate swirl icing!
So the first thing you'll need are the ingredients:
For the Cupcakes-
- 6oz Butter/ Margarine
- 6oz Caster Sugar
- 6oz Self- Raising Flour
- 3 Eggs
- 2tbsp Cocoa Powder
For the Icing-
- 6oz Icing Sugar
- A Dash of Milk
- 2tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 1/2tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1.5oz Butter
Extra Bits-
- Piping Bag with Star Nozzle
- Chocolate Decoration
Method:
- First pre-heat your oven to 180'c (fan assisted) or 190'c
- Next take a 12-hole Cupcake tin and line it with 12 Cupcake cases
- Then cream your butter and sugar together until light and fluffy
- You should then add in each egg one at a time, mixing the egg into the butter and sugar each time.
- Now its time for the flour- sieve it in to the mixture and gently fold it in using a wooden spoon/ spatula
- From here it can get a little messy! Divide your mixture evenly into two bowls.
- To one half add the Cocoa Powder
- To the other half add the drop of Vanilla Extract
- Next take two spoons. Use one of them to put a spoonful of the Vanilla Mixture into the bottom of each cupcake- only fill it to about a third of the case though!
- Then use the other spoon to put in a spoonful of the chocolate mixture into the cases, so each case is around 2/3 full.
- Take a cocktail stick and swirl it around in each the the cupcake cases to give that marble effect we want.
- Bake in the oven for around 20 minutes, until they bounce back when you touch them.
- Leave to cool on a wire rack
- Once the cupcakes are cool- its time to make the icing!
- Mix together the Icing sugar and butter
- Divide this into two bowls
- Add the dash of milk and cocoa powder to one of the bowls and mix
- To the other bowl add the vanilla extract and mix
- Next take your piping bag and put a two streaks of each icing along the edge of the icing bag, so it creates a pattern.
- pipe a swirl of icing onto the top of each cupcake
- Finally place and cute chocolate decoration on each iced cupcake!
And there you have my Birthday Cupcakes.
Hope you enjoy this recipe and have fun making the cupcakes! I'd love it if you were to send me picture of what you made on twitter or tag me on Instagram!
